Industrial Sensor Production
A pressure or temperature sensor variant family. Multiple SKUs sharing a common board with different sensor heads. Volume per SKU low (100 to 1000 units per batch), total across SKUs higher. Each unit calibrated against a reference and the offset stored on board.

- Common analog front end across SKUs
- Sensor head varies per SKU (resistive, capacitive, MEMS)
- Microcontroller with NVS for calibration data
- M12 or terminal block interface
Test plan example
- Power-on self test
- Sensor reading at three reference points
- Calibration coefficient calculation and write to NVS
- Read-back verification of stored calibration
- Output signal verification (4 to 20 mA, Modbus, or other)
Box-build scope
- PCBA potted into sealed housing
- Cable gland or M12 connector
- Pressure-equalization vent if applicable
- Label with serial and calibration date
